Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, along with leaders of central ministries and agencies, Thanh Hoa provincial authorities, Sun Group executives, and Trieu Son District leaders, conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the Commercial Service and Cable Car Project, part of the Am Tiên Spiritual Tourism and Historical Site Complex.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long and Party Central Committee members Do Trong Hung and Nguyen Anh Tuan attended the ceremony.

Representing the central government and neighboring provinces were Party Central Committee members: Le Thanh Long, Deputy Prime Minister; Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Party Central Organization Commission; Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; along with leaders of various ministries and agencies.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen were present at the event.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Tuan Sinh attended the ceremony.

The Am Tiên spiritual tourism and historical site complex covers nearly 400 hectares with a total investment of over VND 35 trillion. It is located in the Nua Mountain range, Co Dinh Village, Nua Town, Trieu Son District.

The Am Tiên National Historic Site is a complex of scenic and cultural landmarks, including Nua Mountain – Nua Temple – Am Tiên Cave. It is famously known as the base of the heroic uprising led by Ba Trieu (Trieu Thi Trinh) against Eastern Wu forces. This site is also recognized as one of Vietnam’s most sacred spiritual energy centers.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Commercial Service and Cable Car Area under the Am Tiên Spiritual Tourism and Historical Site Complex

The complex project is divided into three phases: Phase 1 is the commercial service and cable car area of the Am Tiên spiritual tourism and historical site complex, covering nearly 32 hectares with an investment of nearly 3,000 billion VND. Phase 2 is the tourism service area and cultural landscape axis, spanning nearly 57 hectares with an investment of over 9,600 billion VND. Phase 3 consists of an eco-resort and wellness tourism zone covering nearly 300 hectares, with an investment exceeding 22,000 billion VND.

The commercial service and cable car project jointly initiated by Thanh Hoa Province and Sun Group is Phase 1 of the Am Tiên spiritual tourism and historical site complex.

After two years of construction and investment, once completed, the project will introduce a new, attractive tourism product to Thanh Hoa Province, particularly in the area of visitor transportation; facilitating visitor experiences associated with spiritual and religious activities, while helping preserve and promote the unique cultural heritage of the nation; and at the same time contributing to improved tourism infrastructure, boosting socio-economic development, increasing budget revenues, and creating jobs for the local population.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized Thanh Hoa’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the province’s major strategic orientations in tourism development. He also affirmed that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Commercial Service and Cable Car Project, part of the Am Tiên Spiritual Tourism and Historical Site Complex, marks a new milestone with the first bricks and soil blocks laid - forming the foundation for future large-scale, modern developments, becoming a highlight that will shape a more dynamic and thriving Am Tiên tourism complex.

For the project to be implemented effectively and on schedule, the Standing Vice Chairman requested that departments, agencies, and related units, local Party committees, authorities, mass organizations and residents in the project area continue to support and closely cooperate with the investor and contractors to promptly address difficulties and obstacles during the implementation process with the highest sense of responsibility ensuring public security, social safety, and the most favorable conditions for investors and contractors during project execution.

Sun Group is mobilizing its maximum financial resources, workforce, and modern equipment and machinery to carry out construction, ensuring the best possible construction quality, committed timelines, and full compliance with legal regulations.

In particular, labor safety and environmental hygiene must be strictly guaranteed. Construction and project activities must not affect the daily life, production, and livelihood of local residents. Additionally, the architectural works and historical–cultural values of the area must be preserved.

The success of the project will be a powerful affirmation of the spirit and will of the Vietnamese people in their development journey with the mindset of “preserving while developing,” enhancing the value of the Am Tiên tourism complex in particular and Thanh Hoa’s tourism in general; strongly promoting investment attraction in connection with the preservation and promotion of national historical and cultural values, laying a crucial foundation for Thanh Hoa Province to grow rapidly and sustainably.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long conveyed the congratulations of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the Party Committee, government, and people of Thanh Hoa Province and to Sun Group on successfully organizing the groundbreaking ceremony for the Am Tiên spiritual tourism and historical site complex project.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Am Tiên complex is a commercial project combined with spiritual and cultural tourism. This is a sacred site, where the spiritual energy of heaven and earth converge - referred to as a “national energy center” (huyệt đạo quốc gia).
