Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Xuan Liem, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: “Thanh Hoa has great touristic potentials and benefits and owns many special scenic spots, landscapes and historical relics, which are recognized by UNESCO and the Nation. Following Thanh Hoa’ planning to 2030, with a vision to 2045, Thanh Hoa identifies tourism development as one of the six growth pillars of the province with a focus, priority on marine tourism and eco-tourism resort, spiritual and cultural tourism. 

In recent years, Thanh Hoa has always created the most favorable conditions for investors to invest in projects, especially urban tourism and resort projects in the province. In 2020, Sun Group was interested in investing and started the implementation of the Sea Square project - Urban complex of eco-tourism, high-class resort and entertainment on Sam Son beach.

Up to now, after a period of survey, along with the efforts of Thanh Hoa province,  Sun Group has decided to invest in a hot mineral resort urban area project in Quang Yen commune. The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has approved investment policy in Decision No. 3832/QD-UBND, dated October 1, 2021.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee registered and highly appreciated the effort and determination of Sun Group to overcome the complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic to start the project. At the same time, he thanked for the attention and assistance of central ministries and branches; the enthusiastic support of all levels and branches in the province; consent and support of the local people for this important project.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: After being completed, putting into operation with modern and synchronous infrastructure system, landscape, Japanese resort space and world-class services, Urban hot mineral resort project in Quang Yen commune will create an impressive and unique highlight in the national tourism map, meeting the needs of the high-end resort tourism segment for tourists. At the same time, it also creates many job and income opportunities for thousands of workers, which increases revenue for the State budget and contributes to speeding up the process of economic restructuring. The province will strive to make tourism become a "key economic" industry as the goal of Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW of the Politburo (term XII) and Resolution of the 19th Party Congress of Thanh Hoa province has been set out for the term 2020 - 2025. 

In the coming time, Thanh Hoa wants Sun Group to continue to survey, research and propose investment projects, especially resort and eco-tourism projects that Thanh Hoa has potential and advantage.

In response to investors’ belief, Mr. Mai Xuan Liem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested provincial-level departments, agencies and branches; Party committee and government of Quang Xuong district; people in the project area to accompany and coordinate with investors with the highest spirit and responsibility, determine that the development of enterprises is the development of Thanh Hoa province, proactively and promptly solve difficulties and problems during project implementation, especially land clearance. Quang Xuong is also demanded to create the best conditions for investors to implement the project on schedule; ensure compliance with regulations of law on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection and regulations of law, soon complete and put the project into operation. 

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that investors would focus on mobilizing resources and synchronously deploying economic and technical solutions, especially ones to ensure hygiene and environment for the project to develop sustainably.
