Speaking at the meeting, The Indian delegation‘s representative said: "This is the second time that Indian investors, Dai An Urban and Industrial Park Development Group Joint Stock Company have returned to Thanh Hoa for about one month to survey an opportunity of investing in the "Pharmaceutical Industrial zone project”. He also expressed his impression of Thanh Hoa's leaders' effort for this project.

After surveying other localities, Thanh Hoa became one of two localities being carefully selected by Indian investors to invest in the "Pharmaceutical Park" project. This is a specialized industrial zone in the pharmaceutical field, aiming to attract global pharmaceutical companies, setting up production bases, improving autonomy in pharmaceuticals, and bringing Vietnam to the top world pharmaceuticals. The project has an initial investment of about 500 million USD; export revenue is expected to reach about 3 billion USD per year and creates jobs for 50,000 direct workers and 200,000 indirect workers. Investors said that if "Pharmaceutical Park" is successful, the project will be a lever for Vietnam to become a leading center of research, development, and production on pharmaceuticals in Southeast Asia and the world. The pharmaceutical industrial zone project has about 1006 hectares, and phase 1 will have a scale of about 500-600 hectares.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan was pleased to welcome Indian investors and Dai An Group who have surveyed and selected Thanh Hoa in the two localities currently under construction and being researched to invest in the project "Pharmaceutical Park". He also affirmed the desire and commitment that: If investors choose and decide to invest in this project in Thanh Hoa, we will create the most favorable conditions within the framework of Vietnamese law for investors to implement the project.

Briefly introducing the potential, unique advantages, and great investment attraction incentives of Nghi Son Economic Zone, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Nghi Son Economic Zone in particular, and Thanh Hoa in general, have been an attractive destination for investors. This is the economic zone that receives the highest and most special incentives in our country. Emphasizing the advantages, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee especially appreciated the convenient transportation location of the province, with all kinds of traffic such as Nghi Son International General Port, Tho Xuan International Airport, Highway inter-provincial ministry from North to South; North-South expressway passing through Thanh Hoa; abundant human resources; highly favorable land rental. The delegation of Indian investors came and researched the investment field of the project of Pharmaceutical Industrial Zone in Nghi Son Economic Zone.

For the Pharmaceutical Industrial Park Project, Thanh Hoa province can satisfy the criteria of land, transport infrastructure, high-quality human resources, and incentive mechanisms to meet the requirements of investors. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed belief in the project's success when Indian businesses had chosen to invest in Thanh Hoa; at the same time affirming: "Thanh Hoa always accompanies investors; because the success of investors is also the success and development of Thanh Hoa province."

Also in this morning, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hieu - Head of the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Zones and the investors of the "Pharmaceutical Park" Industrial Zone project came and researched the investment field of the project of Pharmaceutical Industrial Zone in Nghi Son Economic Zone.
