Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex (NSRP Complex) is located in Nghi Son economic zone, one of the eight key coastal economic zones in Vietnam. This is the national key oil and gas project to implement the national socio-economic development strategy and maintain the energy security for the whole country. With total registered investment capital of 9.3 billion USD and phase 1 processing capacity of 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day, equivalent to 10 million tonnes per year, NSRP Complex is one of the largest-scale foreign direct investments in Vietnam. After being put into operation, the complex’s products will meet 40 percent of oil and gas demand in the country and facilitate the development of downstream industries and services.
